I am an independent mortgage broker in Tampa Bay. I started full time in 2020. I explain every step in plain English and keep you updated along the way, so you always know where your loan stands.
Why I became a broker
A bank loan officer can only offer what that bank offers. If the bank's pricing is not great that week, or its guidelines do not fit your situation, you are out of luck. As a broker I can take the same file to a long list of lenders and find the one that fits. That flexibility is the whole reason I do it this way.
As a broker at Edge Home Finance, a national mortgage brokerage, I have access to more than 150 wholesale lenders. You get my attention as a local broker and the lender options of a much larger company.
Who I help
- Veterans and military families. VA loans are my specialty, from first-time buyers on PCS orders to MacDill to veterans using their benefit a second or third time. VA loans
- First-time buyers. I take the time to explain how it all works so nothing feels like a surprise. FHA and conventional
- Self-employed borrowers. Business owners who earn well but get turned down because of their tax returns. Bank statement loans
- Real estate investors. Rentals, flips and portfolio growth. DSCR and hard money

If you are an agent, I want to be the lender you never have to chase. Your buyers get a real pre-approval, you get updates without asking, and we close on time. Every Friday I send a mortgage market update to agents around Tampa Bay. Ask to be added.
